TRS infiltrates Wikipedia!

A week or so ago, we were contacted at Reverb Syndicate HQ by someone who was (as the story goes) listening to one of our tracks, and decided to check to see if we had a Wikipedia article about us. We didn't, so he decided to create an entry for us on our behalf.

Well, it turns out that getting on Wikipedia isn't quite as easy as it seems. There are some very strict rules regarding articles about bands and musicians, which I completely understand. Without them, Wikipedia would become another MySpace, shamelessly self-promoting every musician or band on the planet. Our page was nominated for deletion several times, but then a debate broke out to decide whether or not we were notable enough to deserve a Wikipedia entry. I was a bit blown away that our band had generated that much discussion, and that people actually cared enough about whether we should be there or not.
