Rumble at the Rink - Our HNIC Anthem Entry

I hate music contests. I find music to be so subjective that they usually wind up degenerating into popularity contests. Nevertheless, we of The Reverb Syndicate have what we think would probably make a pretty cool new theme for Hockey Night in Canada, so we put on our "nothing ventured, nothing gained" toques and submitted our entry to CBC's Canada's Hockey Anthem Challenge.

Those of you in the know may remember this song as Theremania! on our last album, except that for the purposes of this contest, it's just a minute long and called Rumble at the Rink.

So check out our entry page here. And feel free to throw us a rating and/or review if you're feeling so inclined. Or don't. That's okay too. Apparently the semi-finalists are being chosen by a panel of judges, so the ratings aren't really going to affect the results anyway.

You can click below to hear our submission too.

And on an interesting side note - at the time of this posting, we have the same rating as this Randy Bachman song. Granted, more people have listened to his entry, though.
