Adventures in Air Traffic Control

Here's a little known fact about Your Humble Narrator: Years and years ago (we're talking high school here), I used to think that I wanted to be an air traffic controller. I have no idea why, or where that crazy idea came from. Fortunately, it lasted all of about 2 weeks, until I learned that air traffic control is one of the most stressful and demanding jobs on the planet. I still find it somewhat fascinating, but I definitely made the right choice to get off that career path as quickly as I did. And as if I needed to reinforce that any further, this recording clinches it. It's a controller at JFK in New York (obviously a native New Yorker judging by the accent) trying to get all the planes on the ground sorted out of a sticky situation. My favorite part is 7 minutes in, when he tells them "You guys should come up here one day... You'd enjoy the show." Anyway, for anybody who thinks that their job is stressful, or they're feeling a little frazzled at work, have a listen, and be glad you don't have it as bad as this guy.
