Tuesday Video Fun

It's a slow day, so I thought I'd post a couple of little videos that brightened it up a little.

Leading off, here's Jack Kerouac being interviewed on the Steve Allen show. Jack talks a bit about his "new" book, On The Road, and does a bit of reading from it, while Steve tinkers away on the piano, and it ends with Steve Allen reminiscing years later about meeting Kerouac. Very cool.

Next up is a bit of hilarity from Improv Everywhere people. Ben Folds was in New York doing a show, and I guess he had heard about them from an earlier stunt in which one of their "agents" was impersonating him. So he called them up and offered to take things even further. They have a much better documented account of what they did, but in a nutshell, the Improv Everywhere guys went on stage at Ben Folds' show pretending to be the band, and then get intentionally busted when the CD they're lipsynching and pretending to play along to starts to skip. Enter the real Ben Folds, and hilarity ensues. This is the video taken from the soundbooth. Enjoy!
